No problem. I’m going to send it. I’ve got your e-mail address. It’s on its way.
Before I actually hit the send button, what am I sending it for? I’ll be talking to the candidate later today, and I always tell her where I’m sending her CV. That’s how I deal with recruited candidates. And she’s going to say, 'where did you send it and why', so I want to be able to give her some feedback. Why am I sending the CV? What’s going on? Is there a position?

“You have to understand that most of the time when I get asked that, it’s a polite way of saying, "send me your company profile", a brush off. If there’s something I’ve said about this candidate that has sparked some interest, let’s talk about it, but most of the time I send the CV and never hear back, and that’s not fair to the candidate. What are you thinking about?”
